Fantastic site for families. Large pitches, nice swimming pool and bar area. River next to site for children and adults alike to play in. Toilet facilities clean and well maintained.

Stayed over for a night on the way to the South. A nice campsite but expected a little bit more. The bar and restaurant weren\'t yet open and the showers and toilets weren\'t the cleanest I\'ve seen. Pitches down next to the river were nicely located - you couldn\'t choose the pitch, these were allocated on arrival and the one we had was quite tight for our motorhome. Swimming pool nice and clean, didn\'t swim in the river but lots of people were doing. Friendly staff on reception and they told us about the nearest shop just a 10 minute bike away and open 7 until 7. Free WiFi around reception area. Would stay again as a one night stopover.

Excellent site on bank of river. Many species of birds including large numbers of kingfishers - on perched at bottom of pitch. A pine martin visited us one morning.. The owners Armand and Claire were very helpful. Some pitches are a long way from facilities. The restaurant was closed (September) when we visited but Armand ran a very good take-away with excellent home made pizzas and draft beer. There are many interesting places to visit nearby.

One of the best campsites we’ve stayed at.
We stayed for 10 nights in June 2014. We had wanted to stay on a peaceful rural site, with good facilities and with plenty of interesting places to visit within the locality. On all these counts this site exceeded our expectations. It was extremely well run by a Franco-British couple, Roman and Claire. There were plenty of modern, well supervised sanitary blocks and an excellent swimming pool and bar. The pitches alongside a fast flowing but shallow river (The Loue which used to form the boundary line between German-occupied and Vichy France during the Second World War) were extremely large, well shaded and had fantastic views of the countryside. We saw a kingfisher in the river and heard cuckoos in the mornings. Once a week on a Friday they hold a soiree with free wine/nibbles and an opportunity to meet other people on the site. The only downside could be that the site is a very long one and if you need to get up in the night to visit the toilets you are dependent on the weather being fine ! You need to balance privacy and accessibility
We visited Arc-et-Senans, the Chaux forest only 15 minutes away and within 30 - 45mins. you can visit Dole, Arbois, Besancon , Chateau Chalon and many more great villages and mountains. The local village, Ounans has a great shop producing magnificent France-Comte cheese and there is a very good hypermarket and petrol station at the next village 5 minutes away.

Excellent site. Made to feel very welcome by the owners. Claire gave us maps for places to visit. Had a pitch by the river. Large pitches. Excellent toilet facilities. Takeaway van every night with first class food. There are chalets on this site but the site has been planned very well to take advantage of every type of accomadation. First class site. Recommend a visit when in the area as we will certainly be returning when next in France.

Stayed in September 2013 at this lovely site. Made very welcome by Clair in reception, who gave us routes to drive for half day or whole day outings. Lots of leaflets available for the surrounding district. Went to Langres, which we enjoyed. Good sized pitch, decided we didn't want to be by the river. Toilet and shower facilities good and very clean. Very pretty site with walking route along the river. Restaurant was closed, but takeaway "van" open every night, for a variety of foods, always well cooked and hot. Bread delivered daily to site. Did not try the pool as weather not too warm. Went to try the adults only indoor spa pool, but there were children having fun, so we went back to the caravan, slightly disappointed.Would return. Met many others on other sites who had stayed at this site, and didn't hear one bad comment.

We stayed at this campsite in the early part of May 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pitches were large and well maintained, the toilet facilities spotlessly clean and we were made to feel very welcome by the owner. This site runs along the side of a river and it was very peaceful. In addition to the outside pool and toddlers pool the site has an adult only indoor SPA facility which comprises a sauna , jacuzzi and a heated pool which was really warm. Despite it being early in the season bread was delivered to the campsite each morning. There was free Wi-Fi outside the reception office with a seating area of tables and chairs.
We paid little for this excellent site and will definitely return.

A lovely site on the bank of the river, with excellent toilet and shower facilities and a nice spa centre. The pool and restaurant weren't open when we visited early in the season so can't comment on those. The English lady owner was very friendly and extremely helpful. The site is in a lovely area for walking and cycling, and would recommend staying here.

Nice informative welcome from Claire. Good choice, out of season, of pitches, riverside or meadow, varying sizes. Water and power to hand with tidy waste areas around site. Top class showers/toilets etc. Good walking from site together with great pool/spa area.
Interesting area for exploring with Swiss border around 1.5 hours away. Plenty to see locally.
