We drove here direct from Santander heading for Porto in a motorhome. An easy 3.5 hours. The site is about 12 minutes from the A62. You do have to go through a small town to get to the site however it is relatively straightforward with either a motorhome or caravan. It was May so did not book. Ruth on reception spoke perfect English and was very welcoming. We chose our own pitch. Pitches are well laid out under trees or on open ground..All had electric hook up which worked fine. There is a modern toilet block with plenty of showers which was spotlessly clean when we visited. Very good facilities for grey waste, water and toilet emptying. We ate in the restaurant one night. Probably best to book the day before. The menu was mainly steak, chicken fish or burgers. Paella was available so long as you booked the day before. Our food was excellent as was the service. Interestingly the bar was very popular with the locals which is a good sign.We cycled into Salamanca. A truly amazing city which is very compact and definitely worth visiting on your way south. There is a cycle path from the campsite along the river right to the Roman Bridge just outside the old town. It is about 5 miles and is an easy 45 minutes mainly on the level. There were bike parking spaces by the Roman Bridge and we had no security problems. You pay on leaving the campsite.

Very welcoming reception team and really helpful with directions to Salamanca by either bus or riverside cycle path. Unfortunately pool had just closed prior to our arrival.
The restaurant seems to be well supported by locals which is always a good sign and we had to book for our evening meal , but it was well worth it!
Male and female Wash blocks kept very clean, hot water but you have to step out into a shared area for a dry floor.
Good Motorhome service point as described in previous reviews.

Nice location, a lot of pitches in the shade under trees. Good on site restaurant. Only stayed 3 nights on our way to Portugal so didn’t use pool and we tend to use our own shower and toilet. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful as I managed to fall over on my face on the nearby cycle path and on return to campsite covered in blood they offered to take me to hospital. Thankfully I didn’t need to go it’s a shame they will be closed on our return or we would have stayed again so that we could catch bus to Salamanca that we missed.

We stayed as a family of five and found the site be one of the best valued in Spain. Staff very friendly, pitches very shady (no grass though), toilets new and clean, minimarket great (for the obligatory daily bread) and lots of space for the children to explore and play. Pool was also very refreshing. A great spot to spend a few days exploring Salamanca and the surrounding region.

Staff very friendly and helpful and facilities excellent. Very pleasant experience and will certainly use again. Note it is over 6 km to walk to Salamanca from site via cycle path. Pool not open unfortunately but grounds continually maintained.

A perfectly located site for visiting Salamanca. The Bus stop is a 15 minute stroll away and €1.40 per person each way. Access to the site is very good even with a 13.5 metre long outfit. The pitches are dry and dusty but that is the aftereffect of the heat wave Spain has been experiencing. A motorhome / caravan dealers is situated opposite the entrance to the site and they speak very good English. Vehicle washing hose is also located at the motorhome washing out area. A Mercadonna is about a 6 minute drive and a fuel station with jet wash and vacuum cleaners etc is a couple of hundred metres away. Salamanca is a must see during the day and also at night when all the lights come on and illuminate the incredible architecture. In October, in Salamanca we felt like we could have been the only people there as some of the streets were deserted. We would definitely return for a stop over and a relaxing few days. We towed the caravan right through Salamanca town on a Sunday and found the roads and access excellent, wide and quiet. Our truck sat nav wanted to take us through the small town opposite the campsite but on no account try this as the roads are quite narrow. The roads we drove through Salamanca on were mostly dual carriageway.

Serious problem with decrepit electrics. Live and neutral both live. Tested with pro socket tester. There is a fault. Owner did not understand which was worrying. Said it was only the English who had problems. Took photos to show burn out on their mains hook up.
If this is regularly inspected then I have to ask what the inspector is doing.

Potentially a good campsite but seriously let down by a few bad points. First to the good; the reception staff were excellent - friendly, (mostly) knowledgable and excellent English. Amenities are very good - well situated, good and modern toilet/wash/kitchen facilities, excellent shop with good fresh bread/pastries/deli/essentials and good restaurant with decent dishes. It's also close to the beautiful city of Salamanca and makes an excellent base to explore this city. But now to the bad; pitches are smallish - we were in a large 3 person tent and just fitted. Others, especially in campers, had some trouble in some pitches, but were alright in others. But if you're in a tent, forget plastic pegs - large steel is the only option and sometimes even that is not possible, as the ground was very hard and quite stony. The washing facilities are modern but each toilet cubicle shares a communal toilet roll dispenser, which runs out quickly and the showers have a communal bench to leave dry clothing, outside from the cubicles, which is very inconvenient. The site is very close to Salamanca but, despite Reception reassuring us it was a 6km walk, we tried it and found it was actually just over What really spoilt our stay at the campsite is the noise level - despite what we were told was a strict midnight to 8am silence rule so as not to disturb neighbours, the site's own facilities go on beyond this time and also we were disturbed by music playing loudly until 2am by some campers, and cars were driving around the site from 6.30am. It was very hard to get sleep. Also, most restaurant staff were excellent but one decided to mock us for trying to speak Spanish with him - this was the first time we have experienced this attitude in over 20 years of visiting Spain and despite us being quite fluent in Spanish. In summary - this could be a good stopping point with lots of potential but, especially if you have young children needing to sleep, U cannot recommend this site until changes are made.
