A lovely campsite but a little tight to negotiate for large motorhomes. There is a bus stop nearby with several buses, for takes you into Granada. There is also a shopping centre and petrol stations nearby. This is a sight we will definitely use again if ever in the Granada area.

Very small site. Great location for trip to Granada. Bus is each way and runs every 15 mins. Small bar, restaurant on site. We didn’t use it but many people did. Shop ver6 basic but great bread and crossaints. Pitches very narrow but fitted our 7 metre van on. Nice pool. Good showers: hot water and good flow. Toilets always clean, look tired from outside. Washing up areas could be improved upon. Washers on site. Tight to manoeuvre around site.

A small intimate site with lots of shade, very quiet except for the bothersome barking dog throughout the night. Lovely pool & rather expensive restaurant. Nicely situated for the main sites but it's a must to pre-book for the Alhambra - the owner can do this for you. Another must for us was the Tapas/Flamenco evening, also arranged by the owner, which also includes transport there & back.

Really good location. Pitches nice and private with plenty of shade. Pool was superb. They also help with organising excursions.
Nice food in restaurant

Arrived here after our tyre blew out on the motorway, and desperately needed a replacement. The reception staff said they could help by arranging for a mobile tyre fitter to replace the tyre? Only planned a stop over to see the sights, but needed a replacement tyre so we were glad of their help, tyre booked and a price was agreed seemingly. We were told the tyre would arrive the following monday day 3. On the monday we went to the reception to find out what time we could expect our new tyre, the reception didn't have a clue, and we were told to come back later. Later in the day they still didn't know anything about the tyre, and were getting a bit annoyed of my questions, and that they would get back to us. We were then told it would arrive the following morning, day 4,tuesday morning came and went, then we were told it would definitely arrive between 4-5 that afternoon. It also came and went. Wednesday morning day 5 my husband went to see whats happening, only to be told the tyre had been cancelled, because i had payed the bill the previous day thinking we were finally leaving. We left utterly disgusted believing that the tyre was never ordered in the first place. We went 10 mins down the road to euromaster who got our replacement that same day. If we had been informed of that option by the staff at la zubia by the reception staff, we would never have stayed the 5 days.
The only positives is the location of this site, theres a regular bus service which takes you into granada. As theres not much choice its fine for a stopover, as long as you organise yourself with tyres, tickets for alhambra, or the flamingo night. The staff add there commission, taxi or whatever else the can get out of it.
The site plots are small for a 7 meter van and can be difficult to manoeuvre into.

We stayed here for two nights as we wanted to visit Granada etc. The site was okay, but like most of the sites we stayed at which were located near a city, it was tired and needed some money spending on it to upgrade the facilities. However while the owners continually fill the spaces I'm sure they won't bother. The one person we saw at reception was very efficient but very unfriendly and rationed the amount of information he shared with us even though he spoke perfect English. There was also a great problem with the electric, which regularly went off during the day and night for hours at a time. However there were electricians on the site who were trying to rectify the problem.
I hated the fact that one was requested to put toilet tissue in a basket instead of down the toilet! Which makes me think the site also had a problem with the drains as well! Access to the city was really easy by bus just outside the site and the wifi was good and cheap. La Zubia was also an interesting little town. But all in all I think I would look for an alternative site another time.

This is an excellent site for visiting Granada - the bus stop is just outside the camp. The pitches were a good size and well defined by hedges. The toilets and showers were excellent with fabulous tiling but the lights were motion activated so you have to keep moving.
We booked the Alhambra by phone - it's done by Ticketmaster - and the very helpful staff recommended taking the car - they were absolutely right as it's about a 5min drive away with masses of parking.
There is a decent sized supermarket just down the road.

Helpful staff and a good bus service into Granada. You can book Alhambra tickets from the site. You cannot make an internet booking as you need to PRINT your booking receipt. Pitches are VERY small and in early June the site was very full. We could only just use our motorhome awning, thereby taking full width of pitch. Swimming pool was open but seemed cold so was not used by us. camp restaurant was well used.
