To the south of Rimini is the town of Pescara, with a long and rich history. The present day municipality was established in 1927. The town boasts a great many restaurants and shops plus a number of cultural sights to enjoy. 

Climate

The Adriatic coast enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with air temperatures and water temperatures roughly on a par with one another. The weather soon warms up in the spring making it a good time to come and camp. Summers are characterised by high temperatures and abundant sunshine.
